Kadlec, Jakub ; Tajovský, Ladislav (advisor) ; Chalupecký, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the economic apects of USA's entrance into WWI, changes in american economy and analyse of the newly established institutions related to the war, which had a great impact on USA's economy even after the end of WWI. At first I outline the situation, which existed in the USA before the entrance into WWI in years 1914-17. I focus especially on Neutrality Policy and its development, which helps me in analyzing economic aspects of the entrance into the war and war economy in general, which is further connected with the establishment of the new economic agencies in years 1917-18. In this section I consider mainly their functions, activities, efectiveness and contribution to the state. In the last section I discuss two kinds of resources which financed the war economy.
